Snowmobile Trails Conditions Report

Warmer temperatures does not allow for grooming operations.            Use caution some open water bars and rails showing in many areas

 

Pittsburg 100% Open- 0" new snow on a 8-18" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good.Trail 139 near jct 894 South Bay trail will have logging operations starting and you may find equipment in the trail.

Colebrook 50 -60% Open 0" new snow on a 6-8 " Base. Riding is marginal at best. Caution: Some open water bars. JANUARY THAW! Corridor 18 is CLOSED from Town of Colebrook to Junction 18 & 7A and from Junction 18 & 126 to Swift Diamond Riders warming hut at Diamond Pond until further notice. This means Corridor 18 is still open between 7A junction and 126 junction only, so Corridor 21, 7A and 7 can still be traveled north-south, and 21, 126, 18, 7A can still be traveled north-south.

Corridor 5 from where it crosses Route 26, north to Swift Diamond Riders warming hut is currently CLOSED until further notice.

Trail 3A, Railroad Tracks is CLOSED until further notice.

EXTREME HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS: All water bars are OPEN, Open ditches and holes

Due to the lower elevation and nature of our trails through forest and swamp land, Colebrook trails are currently rated marginal at best.

Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park 100% Open-0" new snow on a 6-8 " base. Trails are groomed and conditions are moderate to good. Spring Conditions. Bath House in Coleman State Park is Open.

Errol 100% Open 0 " new snow on a 8-10 " base Trails are groomed and conditions are good.

Caution: Some open water bars. Trails still being signed. Stay off the plowed logging roads unless marked.

Stratford 100% Open-0" new snow on a 6" base. Trails are groomed and conditions are moderate to good. Watch for open waterbars. Use caution Logging on corr 7.

Groveton/Nash Stream 100% Open 0" new snow on a 4-8 " base. Trails are groomed and conditions are  moderate to good. Watch for waterbars.

Groveton Village 100% Open 0" New snow on a 1-3 " base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to good. Watch for some open water bars. Use caution on rail, some rails showing.

Cambridge- 100% Open 0" new snow on a 6-8 " base. Trails are groomed and conditions are good.Spring conditions.

Twin Mountain 100% open.0"new snow on a 1-5 " base Trails are groomed. Riding is moderate to good.Use caution on rail line. Some rails showing . Some open water bars.

Dalton 100% Open 0 " new snow on a 6 " base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to good. Caution Open water bars. Spring conditions.

Milan 100% open 0 " new snow on a 6-8 " base. Trails are groomed. Riding is good.

Berlin 90% Open 0" New snow on a 6-8 " base Trails are groomed. Riding is good. Mt. Forest trail not groomed. Watch for logging on Primary 109. Corr 19 between Berlin & Gorhamn temp closed due to logging. ..

Berlin/Success 100%Open 0" New snow on 2-10" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to good.

Gorham 100% Open 0" new snow on a 2-6 " base.Trails are groomed, riding is moderate to good. Corr 19 from Gorham to Berlin Temp closed due to logging.Use caution on Corr 19 South of Gorham, open water bars and it has not been groomed .

Jefferson 100% Open 0" new snow on a 2-6 " base. Trails are groomed and conditions are moderate to good.. Use caution open water bars and some rails showing. Watch for logging on corr 11, please stay on trail. Breakfast at the Waumbek Methna club house Jan 20th 7-11am. On Corr 5 or by car US Route 2.

Lancaster 90% Open 0" on a 0-8 " Base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderatte. . Watch for open water, some rails showing. Kilkenny trail closed from Pleasant Valley to Lost Nation road due to logging..

Whitefield 100% Open  0" new snow on a 0-6 " base. Trails are groomed Riding ismoderate to good. Use caution some open water bars and some rails showing.

Franconia Notch 100% Open 0 " New snow on a 0-8 " base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate. Use caution some open water.

Bartlett 95% Open  0 " New snow Trails groomed last Saturday night. Spring conditions. Pallets for Rail not in place yet Rail closed until then. Expect the weekend of the 12th Multi use trails watch for XC skiers and dog sleds at all times.

Lisbon  100% Open 0 " new snow on a 4-6 " base  Trails are 100% packed and 90% groomed riding is good. Corr 5 Ammonusuc Rail is pack iand groomed. Watch speed as traffic is heavy on weekends. Mushy snow conditions from warmer weather.

Moultonboro 100% Open 0 " new snow . Trails were groomed Friday night. Riding is marginal to moderate .Some open water bars and bare spots. .

W. Ossipee 100% Open 0" Trails were last groomed Friday and Saturday.

N. Conway 100% Open 0" New snow. Groomed Saturday night. Caution open water bars.

E. Conway 100% Open 0" new snow on a 4-8" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good.Some open water bars.

Freedom 100% Open 0" new snow No Grooming at this time.Spring conditions. Use caution open water bars.

New Durham 100%  Open .0" New snow Grooming about 75% of trails. Not 22 to Alton.

Belmont 0" New snow . Warm Temps not allowing grooming expect exposed rails and open water.

Pembroke Open 0 " 0-" New snow No Grooming at this time.Spring conditions. Use caution open water bars

Bear Brook State Park/Allenstown 100% Open. 0" New snow with an 8 " Base. Grooming while weather permtis. Watch out for water holes! ATV's please stay in park.

Pawtuckaway State Park Open 0 " New snow with an 8 " base. . Tower Hill Area, be on look out for Mushers Grooming while weather permits. Logging has started at the end of Round Pond Road where it meets Reservation Road. The main road is being plowed due to construction. Due to washed out bridges, the Fundy Trail will be CLOSED this year.

Pisgah State Park Open 0 " new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are not groomed and riding is fair

Hillsboro 0" new snow on a 6" base Riding is fair

Andover Open 0" new snow on a 10-15" base riding is fair. Highland Lake in East Andover will be unsafe for riding this year due to the changing ice conditions caused by the rebuilding of the dam

Franklin Open 0" new snow on a 12" base. Riding is fair

Hinsdale 100 % Open 0"new snow on a 15"  base. Trails are packed and riding is good. Corr 5 is now open to the Mass State line.

Rindge Open 0 " New snow on an 4-6 " Base.Trails are groomed and riding is fair. Jan 19th Dinner Dance. Open to public.

Unity 100% Open 0 " New snow on a 1-6" Base Variable conditions. Grooming where conditions allow. Caution Open water bars .

N. Stratford- Colebrook Rail line is Not Available for winter use.
