Colder night temps are helping to set snow and help to keep the groomers going in many areas. North Country is reporting Good Spring Riding conditions. Central NH has moderate riding in higher elavations. Use extreme caution if you are out riding in southern and central areas as gates are closing. STAY OFF LAKES AND PONDS! Ice conditions are hazardous and changing daily on many larger lakes and ponds, especially around inlets and outlets.
Coos County
Pittsburgh -0-10" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal to great. Watch for signs some local trails are closed.
Colebrook - 0-6"base. Trails are groomed and Riding is moderate. Caution - Rails are exposed from Colebrook to Stewartstown. Corr 18 Closed from Jct. 7A and 21 (1 mile from town)
Stratford - 0-5" base. Riding is moderate. Rail bed is marginal riding.
Groveton/Nash Stream 4-10" base. Trails are groomed, riding is moderate to good.
Groveton Village - 0-2" base. Not grooming at this time. Riding is marginal . Caution - Rails are exposed.
Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park - 8" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good to great .
Errol - 2-6" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is marginal to good . Caution - Primary 115 (Charles Trail) is closed from Jct of Corr 18 to the Jct of the 13 Mile Trail, due to logging, Use Primary 110 to Corr 18 to get into the town of Errol.
Cambridge - 4-6" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is good.
Milan - 0-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal to good.
Twin Mountain- 4-18" base. Trails are groomed and riding is fair to good. Caution - Rails exposed.
Berlin - 0-12" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal to good.
Berlin/Success - 2-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to good.
Gorham - 4-10" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to good.
Jefferson - 2-18" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good. Caution - Rails are exposed and PLEASE stay on trail when crossing golf course in Jefferson.
Lancaster - 0-2" base. Trails are not groomed and riding is marginal. Caution - Rails are exposed.
Franconia Notch -1-4" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is moderate to good.
Bear Notch/Bartlett - 6-12" base Trails groomed when temps allow . Riding is good. Caution Club has been working to clear limbs and debris from wind storm. Use caution. Watch for mushers and cross country skiers. Please slow down in village.
Watch for Closed signs and hazard warnings. Carroll County
Ossipee- 0-4" base. grooming has stopped RR tracks are all exposed and gates are being closed. Castle Trail gates are closed, sidewalks to get there are bare.
Moultonboro Trails are closed
White Lake area towards Sandwich has a lot of debris with open water bars.
Conway 0-2" base no grooming very poor conditions.
Wolfeboro Trails are closed
Seven Lakes/Wakefield -Closed
Grafton County-
Alexandria - Closed
Bridgewater 2-6" base. Lower elavations thin and bare spots. Upper elavations have snow, limited riding.
Rumney- 75% open and riding has been reported as good.
Hebron- Still good riding in higher elavation.
Baker River Valley- Higher elavation groomed and good riding.
Belknap County
Belmont- Closed
Gilford -Closed
Merrimack County -
Lake Sunapee - Still riding in higher elavations. Limited in lower. Trails to Pillsbury is still good. Watch for bare spots and open water bars.
Canterbury/Loudon Closed
Strafford County
Rockingham County
Hillsborough County
Weare - Trails are closed
Sullivan County -
Unity/Acworth - 2-8" average of trail base in the higher elevations.No riding in the lower elevations. Some bare spots, limited grooming while conditions allow. Fair spring conditions in the areas where riding is available.
Claremont 50% open 0-12" base. Grooming when conditions allow. Higher elavations have good spring conditions, lower have marginal. No access to services in Claremont.
Sugar River Trail has no snow into Claremont from the first Jct of Corr 5
Cheshire County -
Chesterfield 6-8" base remote access and connecting trails have no snow. Local riding.
State Park Trails -
Bear Brook State Park -Closed
Pawtuckaway State Park - Closed
Pillsbury State Park - Open 8-18" base. Spring like conditions low and moderate riding in high elavations.
Pisgah- Open 4-8" base. Spring like conditions low and moderate riding in higher elavations. Open water bars.
Rail Trails Gates are closing.
Concord to Lincoln Rail LineGates are Closed.
Northern Recreational Rail Trail Gates are Closed.
Farmington Recreational Gates are Closed.
Rockingham Rec Trail Gates are Closed.
Presidential Rail Trail .
Ashuelot Rail Trail Gates are Closed.
Sugar River Rail Trail Gates are Closed.
